1. Gk-615 radio has a short flexible transmitting antenna (about 20cm long) and a barrier free communication coverage of ≤ 50km.
2. In order to enhance the coverage distance of gk-615 VHF radio, it is necessary to remove the original antenna of the radio and refit it into an outdoor high-power antenna and a 10 meter long RF cable.
3. The modified VHF radio has barrier free coverage and communication distance ≥ 120 km. The VHF antenna can be placed on the ground or on the roof of the machine room, as shown below.
